MEET THE TEAM
Blaze Kelly Coyle (Concept/Writer) is President and CEO of Silver Phoenix Entertainment. Born in Philadelphia and currently residing in the Metro New York area, Blaze is the quintessential renaissance woman with an extensive résumé spanning all aspects of the entertainment biz. She is the co-writer and co-creator of the educational video series Eco-Files and created/co-wrote the dramedy series Emma Everything. Blaze also co-wrote the off-broadway musical O Night Divine, providing lyrics and the libretto. Blaze is co-host of a lifestyle and entertainment podcast called, The Silver Phoenix Happy Hour. Beachcombing w/Blaze is her latest passion project -- an educational marine science based series about exploration, learning, and loving adventure! In her spare time, Blaze enjoys beachcombing, sports, playing board games, spending time with
her nieces, nephews and goddaughter, and traveling! www.silverphoenixentertainment.com
Andrew Romano (Writer) was born and raised outside Philadelphia. When he was nine, unlike most children his age he asked Santa for a typewriter. Well, Santa came through--Andrew was a good boy that year--and thus began his love for writing and rhyming. Andrew now resides outside New York City, where he enjoys observing the hustle and bustle of people and places all around him, and bringing that to children in an entertaining and educational way. He hopes his writing inspires children and adults alike to explore the world around them and see the beauty in it everywhere. Andrew is also a professional voice-over actor and runs a boutique wealth management practice.
Sanja Nenić (Illustrator) is a very talented young lady from Bosnia, Europe. She grew up in the small town of Bijeljina and is currently a law student at the University of Novi Sad. At a young age, Sanja grew an immense affection towards drawing and today it has become one of her life's passions.
Amy Etheredge (Layout Designer) has been interested in graphic design ever since she was in middle school. She received her Bachelors Degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University in 2007 and has since been putting her knowledge to the test across several different areas of the industry. From North Carolina, Amy now resides in Jersey City.
Jennifer Bollacker (Education Consultant) Jennifer brings over a decade of (k-3) classroom teaching to the team. She received a BS in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University followed by a Master of Education degree in Literacy at Wilmington University. Her husband’s military career gave her the unique opportunity to teach in several states. The diverse populations of rural North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, and Pennsylvania have given Jennifer a gift rich in culture. Through quality children’s literature, these cultures can be shared. She is thrilled to add The Most Well-Traveled Squirrel in the Whole Wide World to her personal library collection!
Leo Kirschner (Composer) is an Atlantic City-based keyboardist, composer, arranger & producer. He has written for regional theatre, cabaret performances, show choirs and casino shows. Professional composing credits include music and lyrics for the Off-Broadway musical O Night Divine, the original children's holiday cantata, Christmas Spectacular, and the motion picture score for Echelon 8. A past participant of the ASCAP/Disney Theatrical Workshop under Stephen Schwartz, Leo is currently developing the original rock musical Anonymous, Anonymous, and is completing a songbook of original Children songs. http://www.leokirschner.com/.
James Coyle (Associate Editor) earned an M.A. in Writing and B.A. in English Literature from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. A Language Arts teacher of multiple venues spanning nearly two decades, he has also been a trade publication editor, research analyst, freelance writer & editor, Sigma Tau Delta (International English Honor’s Society) member, artist, poet, and beginner's chess teacher (he shoots a mean game of pool, too). Above all else, though, James wishes to highlight his distinction as “proud brother” of The Most Well-Traveled Squirrel’s creator/co-author, Blaze Kelly Coyle.
